Decorating with Fringe! Endless possibilities…

SINGLE TIER LAMP SHADE

STEP 1: Chose the color you would like to decorate with.

STEP 2: Measure the length and circumference of your lamp shade.

STEP 3: Purchase fringe in the color you selected.

STEP 4: Apply fringe to lampshade going around twice for added thickness.

STEP 5: Apply Decorative trim to top of lamp shade.

STEP 6: Remove threading at the bottom of Fringe to free the strands.

ADDING FRINGE TO CLOTH SHOWER CURTAIN TO ADD LENGTH AND STYLE

I purchased a standard 74inch wide shower curtain. Bad news is, the glass door in my shower is higher than that & in order to clear the door the shower curtain rod would have to hang higher than that.

STEP 1: Chose the color you would like to decorate with. I chose a color that was already int he shower curtain that would accent it nicely.

STEP 2: Measure the width of shower curtain.

STEP 3: Purchase fringe in the color & double the width you select. I purchased a little more than double the width so that the trim would appear full and also so I had a few inches of cushion.

STEP 4: Apply fringe to the shower curtain. I turned my shower curtain over and laid it on flat surface. I then took the seam of my turquoise fringe and applied fabric glue long small sections starting at one end of the curtain and going all the way across to the end. To make the fringe fuller, you can repeat this process by adding a second row of fringe directly on top of the first row using fabric glue.

STEP 5: Remove threading at the bottom of fringe to free the strands.

 

STEP 6: Allow everything to dry completely & hang curtain. I hung the curtain back up on the rod and now my shower curtain hangs 6 inches longer filling in the gap that once existed. A-Mazing!
